# Permanently delete a link

> Remove a link or QR code for good. This cannot be undone.

        Works for QR codes too — a QR code is a link, so the same id space
        covers both, and its QR image records are removed with it.


        Click history is **kept**: analytics for a deleted link remain available
        for your reports. The slot it occupied stays counted against your plan,
        so deleting and recreating does not reset a limit.


        A link blocked by moderation cannot be permanently deleted and returns
        `403`; archive it instead.
