# Reqlick in Claude and ChatGPT
Source: https://docs.reqlick.com/ai-assistants
Connect Reqlick to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client. Create links and QR codes, share files and read analytics by asking.
Reqlick has a remote MCP server. Connect it once and your AI assistant can work in your Reqlick workspaces for you.
```text theme={null}
https://api.reqlick.com/mcp
```
You sign in with your Reqlick account. Every plan can connect, and your plan's limits apply as they do in the dashboard.
## Connect
1. Open **Settings → Connectors** on claude.ai.
2. Choose **Add custom connector**. Name it `Reqlick` and paste the URL above.
3. Keep the defaults, **Sign in now** and **Use Claude's published identity**, then click **Add**.
4. Click **Connect** and sign in with your Reqlick account.
The connector also works in the Claude desktop and mobile apps.
1. Open **Plugins** in ChatGPT, click **+**, then **Create app**.
2. Name it `Reqlick`, paste the URL above as the server URL and keep **OAuth**.
3. Accept the notice about custom servers and create the app.
4. Sign in with your Reqlick account when ChatGPT asks.
If you don't see **Create app**, turn on developer mode in ChatGPT's settings first.
```bash theme={null}
claude mcp add --transport http reqlick https://api.reqlick.com/mcp
```
Then run `/mcp` in Claude Code, pick `reqlick` and sign in.
Add a remote MCP server with the URL above. Any client that supports streamable HTTP and OAuth works.
```json theme={null}
{
"mcpServers": {
"reqlick": { "url": "https://api.reqlick.com/mcp" }
}
}
```
To check the connection, ask: **"Who am I on Reqlick?"** The assistant lists your account and workspaces.
## What you can ask
Create, search, edit, pause and archive links. Edits cover the destination, short key, title, expiry, password, iPhone and Android destinations, tags and UTM parameters.
* "Shorten [https://example.com/spring-sale](https://example.com/spring-sale) as rqk.sh/spring in my Marketing workspace."
* "Add utm\_source=newsletter to rqk.sh/spring."
* "Pause rqk.sh/spring, and tag it black-friday."
Create a QR code with your colours and shapes. The assistant shows the image in the chat. You can restyle it later, and the printed code keeps working because the short URL does not change.
* "Make a dark blue QR code with rounded dots for [https://example.com/menu](https://example.com/menu)."
* "Point the menu QR code at the new winter menu."
Assistants that can send a local file over HTTP, like Claude Code, Cursor and custom agents, can share a file as a link or a QR code. They ask Reqlick for an upload link, upload the file, then create the link.
A file attached in the claude.ai or ChatGPT chat window cannot reach Reqlick. Upload it in the dashboard first, then ask the assistant to share it.
* "Share ./brochure.pdf as rqk.sh/brochure."
* "Replace the file behind rqk.sh/brochure with ./brochure-v2.pdf."
Up to 100 links, or 25 QR codes, in one request. Rows that fail come back with a reason, and the rest are still created.
* "Shorten these 30 product URLs with utm\_campaign=autumn."
Clicks over time, top links, and breakdowns by country, region, city, device, browser, OS, language and referrer. Paid plans can also export up to 200 clicks as CSV.
* "How many clicks did rqk.sh/spring get this month, by country?"
* "Which QR code was scanned most this year?"
## Plans and limits
The assistant acts as you, with the same rules as the dashboard.
| | Free | Paid plans |
| ------------------------------------ | ------------------------ | ------------------------ |
| Links, QR codes, files | Up to your plan's limits | Up to your plan's limits |
| Password, expiry, device targeting | No | Pro and above |
| Click counts | Yes | Yes |
| Visitors, trends, breakdowns, export | No | Yes |
| Analytics history | 30 days | Your plan's retention |
When a limit is reached, the assistant tells you why. Read-only members can search and read analytics but cannot change anything. Requests share the API's rate limit of 100 per minute.
## Privacy and access
* You sign in with OAuth. The assistant never sees your password, and Reqlick never sees your conversation.
* The assistant can only reach workspaces you belong to.
* Every change the assistant makes is recorded in Reqlick's audit log, like a change made in the dashboard.
* To disconnect, remove the Reqlick connector in your assistant's settings.
Read the [privacy policy](https://reqlick.com/privacy-policy) for what Reqlick stores.
## Troubleshooting
You signed in with an account that has no Reqlick workspace. Sign in with the email you use on app.reqlick.com.
Ask the assistant to update the link with no changes. That publishes it again.
Write to [support@reqlick.com](mailto:support@reqlick.com) with the prompt you used and the time.

# Introduction
Source: https://docs.reqlick.com/api-reference/introduction
Fundamental concepts of Reqlick's API.
Reqlick's API is currently in beta. If you have any questions or feedback,
please reach out to us at
[support@reqlick.com](mailto:support@reqlick.com?subject=reqlick.com%20API%20Feedback).
## Base URL
Reqlick's API is built on REST principles and is served over HTTPS. To ensure data privacy, unencrypted HTTP is not supported.
The Base URL for all API endpoints is:
```
https://api.reqlick.com
```
## Authentication
Authentication to Reqlick's API is performed via the Authorization header with a Bearer token. To authenticate, you need to include the Authorization header with the word `Bearer` followed by your token in your API requests like so:
```
Authorization: Bearer
```
You can get your token under your Settings > API Keys
## Response Codes
The API returns standard HTTP response codes to indicate the success or failure of an API request. Here are a few examples:
| Code | Description |
| ----- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `200` | The request was successful. |
| `400` | The request was invalid or cannot be served. |
| `401` | The request requires user authentication. |
| `403` | The server understood the request, but refuses to authorize it. |
| `404` | The requested resource could not be found. |
| `429` | Too many requests. |
| `500` | The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. |
# Data model
Source: https://docs.reqlick.com/data-model
A quick overview of how Reqlick is structured.
Whether you are using Reqlick's [API](/api-reference/introduction) or not, this page is a quick way to understand how Reqlick works.
Within Reqlick, all data belongs to a [**Workspace**](#workspaces). Within a workspace, you have [Links](#links), [Documents](#documents), [Subscriptions](#subscriptions), [Domains](#domains) and more.
## Workspaces
Workspaces is the defacto way of organizing your links and working with your team on Reqlick. You can think of a Reqlick workspace like a workspace on Slack or Discord – it's a shared space where you can invite your team members to collaborate on links, QR codes and files.
When interacting with Reqlick's API, you will also need to specify the Workspace URL to perform any operation. You can find the workspace URL under the **General** settings page of your workspace.
The unique identifier for the workspace.
The URL of the workspace.
The name of the workspace.
The logo of the workspace.
The links of the workspace.
The documents of the workspace.
